71903 LLB – ABEC-5 Angular-Contact Bearing (C3 Clearance) – 17mm x 30mm x 7mm
Angular-Contact bearing generally used as a front hub bearing, as a bottom bracket bearing for some older square taper BBs, and can be used as a pivot bearing though the MAX-type version of this bearing is better suited for suspension use. This ABEC-5 bearing features deep-groove design races, with Grade 10 balls, dual-lip labyrinth (LLB) seals to withstand daily abuse of use and the elements, and to contain the 90% fill Mobilux NGLI 2 high pressure water proof synthetic grease. When properly installed (black seal facing in) and adjusted, Enduro Angular Contact (A/C) bearings engage all of the bearing’s balls to spread the force over a larger surface area, decreasing friction, minimizing wear and increasing bearing life.
The Enduro line of bearings are available in High-Carbon Chromium Steel, 440C Stainless Steel, Ceramic-Hybrid and XD-15 with Ceramic or Stainless Balls. Our bearings are always engineered with deep groove races to accommodate the largest balls possible. All of our standard bearings feature dual-lip seals that ride in a micro groove creating a full labyrinth to provide ultimate protection against the elements.
