MAX bearings provide 35-40% more load capacity than standard radial bearings by employing with a special design where the maximum number of balls (full-complement) are inserted into the bearing. The race grooves are also deeper on these bearings to provide increased lateral support to counteract the twisting and multi-directional forces associated with mountain bike pivots. This MAX-type, Double-Row, ABEC-3 bearing features deep-groove design races, with Grade 10 balls and full-contact, double-lip, labyrinth (LLU) seals for maximum protection against the elements, while keeping the 90% fill of Almagard Extra High Pressure Grease inside.&nbsp;<span>The double-row design greatly reduces flex in the suspension linkage while doubling the bearing contact area and the double-extended inner race eliminates the need for extra spacers to properly connect the linkage<\/span><span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>This bearing was used as a suspension pivot bearing by Turner Bikes in the past.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Enduro line of bearings are available in High-Carbon Chromium Steel, 440C Stainless Steel, Ceramic-Hybrid and XD-15 with Ceramic or Stainless Balls. Our bearings are always engineered with deep groove races to accommodate the largest balls possible.
