MAX bearings provide 35-40% more load capacity than standard radial bearings by employing with a special design where the maximum number of balls (full-complement) are inserted into the bearing. The race grooves are also deeper on these bearings to provide increased lateral support to counteract the twisting and multi-directional forces associated with mountain bike pivots. This MAX-type, Double-Row, ABEC-3 bearing features deep-groove design races, with Grade 10 balls and full-contact, double-lip, labyrinth (LLU) seals for maximum protection against the elements, while keeping the 90% fill of Almagard Extra High Pressure Grease inside.&nbsp;<span>The double-row design greatly reduces flex in the suspension linkage while doubling the bearing contact area and the extended inner race eliminates the need for extra spacers to properly connect the linkage<\/span><span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>This bearing is most commonly used as a suspension pivot bearing by Yeti.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Enduro line of bearings are available in High-Carbon Chromium Steel, 440C Stainless Steel, Ceramic-Hybrid and XD-15 with Ceramic or Stainless Balls. Our bearings are always engineered with deep groove races to accommodate the largest balls possible.
